  Food and drink good. Atmosphere good. Was going to try the beer festival, after ordering was told can't pay with card. After a short discussion card payment was accepted. But the catch was that there was an extra charge because of card payment. Why pay extra because of a different payment method. That's wrong! If it had not happened then it would have been at least 4 stars.

  Great food and atmosphere. The cakes are the main attraction here, as they are massive and delicious. This place seems like it's always busy though. But always been able to get a table and served quickly. Marked at 4 stars as my on my last visit I had the veggie carvery option of camembert and beetroot pie and both mine and my partners were room temperature when they were supposed to be hot. This was quickly rectified though, free salad while we waited for our food to be cooked again.

  This place was recommended to us by one of my wife's colleagues. Firstly this place was very busy and bustling with people which is always a great sign. That being said we were quickly seated and decided to go for the Carvery.
  
  The food was excellent and service was top notch. Staff are friendly and eager to help.
